Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator supports all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. This role helps ensure efficient HR operations while maintaining compliance with company policies, GMP, and federal and state employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
Facilitate onboarding, new hire orientation, and I-9/employment documentation
Maintain HRIS records, personnel files, and employee data reporting
Support payroll processing, attendance tracking, and compensation administration
Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, claims resolution, and vendor coordination
Process and monitor FMLA and other leaves of absence
Assist with employee relations, including responding to inquiries, counseling, and exit interviews
Support performance management processes and training initiatives
Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and the employee handbook
Ensure compliance with EEO, affirmative action, and employment laws
Maintain records and reports to support audits and regulatory requirements
Represent the organization in HR-related meetings, hearings, or investigations as needed
Partner with external vendors and benefit providers
Work Environment:
Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment
Exposure to spices and production areas as needed
PPE required when entering production areas (hairnet, gloves, etc.)

Qualifications:
2–4 years of HR experience preferred
Experience in manufacturing or food production environment a plus
Knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
