BT Operator / Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

The Sterilization Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of Propylene Oxide (PPO) sterilization chambers. This role plays a key part in ensuring all sterilization processes are performed according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs), with strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.  Work shift is Monday through Friday, 6am - 2:30pm.    

Essential Functions:

• Monitor and operate PPO sterilization chambers according to scheduled cycles and safety guidelines.
• Ensure full compliance with all standard operating procedures related to sterilization processes.
• Accurately document and maintain records of all treated and untreated products on a daily basis.
• Collect and log microbiological samples from each product batch as required.
• Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety protocols.
• Load and unload products into and out of sterilization chambers, ensuring proper handling and placement.
• Review batch cards and customer specifications to ensure accuracy of treatment processes.
• Support inventory control efforts, including participation in routine cycle counts.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills:

• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and data entry.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to walk, stand, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as required by operational tasks.

Environmental Demands:

• Regular exposure to airborne particles such as spice dust and other ingredients.
• Work performed in environments with varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
• Exposure to high noise levels and mechanical vibrations; appropriate PPE is provided.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be organized and follow up on tasks
• Ability to communicate both written and orally (Bilingual English/Spanish a plus)
• Ability to work in an interdepartmental team setting and independently

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift

Salary : $20 - $24
