Lead SAP PP/MM/SD Consultant

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP PP/MM/SD Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP modules with a focus on Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP systems, solution architecture, and a broad range of IT infrastructure skills including cloud security, system design, and integration. As a lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP/MM/SD solution architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT standards and business needs.
• Design and implement scalable SAP solutions integrating Service-oriented architecture (SOA), RESTful APIs, and microservices frameworks.
• Oversee system design, configuration, and customization of SAP modules while ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to manage cloud security protocols, virtualization environments (VMware, ESXi), and system hardening practices.
• Develop and maintain integration points using ETL processes, web services, SOAP, and REST APIs for seamless data flow across systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Manage system administration tasks including load balancing, VPN setup, firewall configuration, DNS management, DHCP services, and network security measures.
• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Git, Docker/Kubernetes for efficient development cycles.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and threat intelligence analysis to ensure system integrity and compliance with information security standards.
• Provide technical leadership in SDLC processes including system design reviews, debugging sessions, system testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior team members while coordinating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Lead SAP PP/MM/SD Consultant with extensive knowledge of SAP modules integration within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong background in solution architecture involving cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi.
• Hands-on experience with modern IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), computer networking protocols (DNS, DHCP), firewalls, VPNs, load balancing solutions like Meraki or similar devices.
• Expertise in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, C , Shell Scripting; familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins; proficiency in scripting for automation tasks.
• Deep understanding of database management systems including SQL Server T-SQL, PL/SQL for Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Knowledge of web services development using SOAP/RESTful APIs; experience with microservices architecture; familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience working within Agile environments employing SDLC best practices; familiarity with GPO management; system hardening techniques; vulnerability management strategies; threat intelligence analysis.
• Educational background in Computer Science or related fields is preferred along with relevant certifications in SAP modules or cloud platforms. Pay: $54.43 - $65.56 per hour
