Master Casting and CAD is a custom fine jewelry manufacturer. Fine jewelry stores hire us to do CAD, 3D printing, casting, stone setting, polishing, and finishing. We take craftsmanship seriously, and we're building the team to match.
THE ROLE
The Production Coordinator is responsible for keeping our manufacturing floor running smoothly and efficiently. You will serve as the central hub for order flow by taking incoming jobs, prioritizing them, routing them to the right departments, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. This role requires someone who is highly organized, decisive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced custom jewelry environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Review incoming orders and set priorities based on deadlines and urgency.
· Determine the sequence for 3D file prep and routing to our 3D printing queue.
· Route jobs to the right department: casting, stone setting, polishing, engraving, etc.
· Fit rush orders into the schedule and coordinate with the shop.
· Manage rework turnarounds quickly when a job needs to be corrected.
· Monitor job status throughout the day using our internal tracking system.
· Spot bottlenecks and work with the Head of Production to clear them.
· Keep an eye on where errors happen and help identify process improvements.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
· Some background in jewelry; you know how a piece is made start to finish.
· Highly organized; you can track a lot of moving parts without losing the thread.
· Comfortable making prioritization calls under pressure.
· Clear communicator with both shop staff and management.
· Detail-oriented and proactive; you look for problems before they find you.
CAD skills are not required. We will train you on our systems and workflows.
