Job Title: Janitorial Technician (High-Volume Facility)
Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our janitorial team at a high-traffic facility. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment, particularly in high-use areas such as restrooms and common spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and capable of maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.
Shift:
8 hours, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Duties
- Perform routine janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning.
- Maintain restrooms to a high sanitation standard, including frequent cleaning, restocking, and proper disposal of waste.
- Handle high-volume cleaning demands during peak usage periods (break times).
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with facility procedures.
- Respond promptly to cleaning needs as they arise throughout the shift.
- Conduct basic upkeep of cleaning equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Support general facility upkeep as required.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role (standing, walking, lifting, and repeated cleaning tasks throughout shift).
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as a valued team member.
- Previous experience in janitorial or general cleaning is preferred.
