Role Description
Master Builders & Specialists is currently seeking an experienced full-time Project Superintendent for on-site project construction in Lafayette, LA. The Project Superintendent is responsible for managing daily activities on an assigned construction site to ensure timely, efficient, and quality project completion. The successful candidate will communicate regularly with all stakeholders and manage relationships to achieve project goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Hands on and significant relevant experience may substitute for education and is highly preferred.
- 5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial construction; experience as a Project Superintendent required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead on-site team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to commence and complete a project on time. Must be familiar with site preparation, building layout, experience in all aspects of building foundation system and application of each task.
- Thorough knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment, including structural steel and Pre- Engineered Metal Buildings.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and contracts and properly schedule each task or subcontractor.
- OSHA Certification preferred, but not required.
- Experience and ability to handle and properly place labor for self performed tasks.
- Quality assurance is required meeting full compliance of contract documents and design intent.
