Specified Systems, Inc. is one of the region’s most prolific erecting distributors of architectural aluminum windows, aluminum storefront and doors, low-rise aluminum curtain wall, and specialty glazings. The company covers metropolitan Pittsburgh, western PA to Erie, and what is commonly known as the “Tri-State,” which encompasses southeastern Ohio, West Virginia, and western Maryland. We work closely with architects, general contractors, and building owners to specify the right product for the required application. We do our own field engineering and sizing, generate our own shop drawings, write our own engineered orders on window projects, fabricate storefront/curtain wall/entrance doors in our Washington, PA shop, and manage our own installations.
We are seeking to fill a Service Tech position within the high paced regional construction industry. We are looking for an individual who has confidence, drive, excellent communication skills, and a high sense of urgency. This position works directly within our operations team and must have a desire to succeed.

Responsibilities
- Analyze service work orders & plan daily travel schedule
- Complete service request by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts to complete installation
- Track and notate daily installation progress
- Respond to emergency service requests
- Communicate with customers and company management about service work required or completed
- General understanding of commercial windows, storefront, and entrances
- Aluminum door hardware knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Ability to Review and Read installation instructions
- Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
