Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 7 years of experience designing, automating, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure and containerized applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Ansible, Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production support. This role focuses on building scalable cloud infrastructure, improving system reliability, automating deployments, and supporting Kubernetes platforms in enterprise production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Auto Scaling, ELB/ALB, SNS/SQS, and API Gateway.
- Deploy, upgrade, and support Kubernetes/EKS clusters and containerized applications.
- Implement GitOps and continuous delivery practices using ArgoCD, Helm, Jenkins, Harness, and Travis CI.
- Develop automation solutions using Ansible, Bash, and Python.
- Configure Kubernetes resources including Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PVs/PVCs, CronJobs, and HPA.
- Implement traffic management and service routing using Istio and load balancers.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, EFK, and Loki.
- Define and track SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and reliability metrics.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent remediation.
- Support cloud migration initiatives, including application and database migrations to AWS.
- Implement security best practices using IAM, RBAC, security groups, and network controls.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment, automation, reliability, and operational practices.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
