Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Proposal Coordinator to support the development and submission of high-quality proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation documents. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant, and compelling proposal submissions that align with company goals and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process, including scheduling, content collection, formatting, and final submission.
- Analyze RFP/RFI requirements and develop compliance matrices and proposal outlines.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), writers, and graphic designers to gather and integrate content.
- Maintain and update proposal content libraries and templates.
- Ensure proposals are compliant, well-written, and visually appealing.
- Track proposal progress and deadlines using project management tools.
- Assist in post-submission activities such as debriefs, lessons learned, and archiving.
- Support contract management, proposal to project setup.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in proposal coordination or a similar role.
- Familiarity with government and/or commercial proposal processes (e.g., FAR, DFARS, GSA).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with proposal tools (e.g., SharePoint, RFPIO, Loopio) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in power delivery and construction.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
