MasTec Power Delivery is a $5B utility construction vertical under the Mastec group of companies. We focus on the electrical distribution, substation, and transmission, as well as the natural gas and telecom distribution infrastructure.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and professional Lead Recruiter to join our team! As a lead recruiter, you will partner with our East region and become a strategic piece of their talent acquisition activities. You will report to the Head of Power Delivery Recruiting and be instrumental in the development of a collaborative nationwide recruiting team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with senior leadership to get a clear view of hiring needs and organizational goals
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that promote top talent hiring, improved productivity, quality, and retention.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Provide executive reporting to business leaders and HR leaders, covering open requisitions, KPI achievements, and hiring metrics.
- Mentor and develop other recruiters on the expanded team.
- Identify process gaps and implement new solutions to close the gaps.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure we meet or exceed our hiring goals
- Create and execute a college hiring program as well as working with local trade schools.
Skills/Abilities:
- Experience leading the recruitment process independently and with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement and execution of solutions.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Education and Experience:
- 7 years of experience in recruiting and working with senior leadership, hiring key management and professional roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment systems (iCIMS is preferred).

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
