Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to Accounting/FP&A/Project Accounting
- Learn and embrace the fundamentals of construction accounting
- Welcome the exposure to accounting in a publicly traded company
- Participate in process improvement initiatives using workflow/Power BI/excel
- Determine what tasks can be automated and/or made more efficient using current technology.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Current enrollment in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program related to Accounting or Business
- Have a GPA of 2.9 in relevant coursework
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Mastec's Injury principles
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
- Team Player
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially and professionalism

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications

- Compensation $20 per hour, commensurate with experience.
