As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be responsible for performing daily QC responsibilities associated with establishing and monitoring defined processes required in project activities.
Your duties will include:
- Providing specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and quality tools for problem-solving and assessment.
- Creating inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met.
- Making recommendations for corrective action.
- Applying knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution.
- Implementing principles of performance evaluation and prediction methods to improve product systems safety, reliability, and maintainability.
- Generating reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifying operations and QC management of significant problems, and completing documentation necessary to attest to the satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.
- Developing skills and knowledge to determine the degree of conformance of production and operations to specifications under supervision.
- Assisting in documentation to attest to the satisfactory completion of inspection, corrective action, or test activities.
Candidates should have:
- A strong focus on safety and quality.
- A track record of delivering high-quality work.
- The ability to solve complex problems and a hands-on approach to their work.
- A preference for long-term projects and teamwork.
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of verifiable experience in telecommunications and/or construction.
- An understanding of drawings, permits, and specifications relevant to the Fiber, Cellular, and/or Cable industry.
- Computer literacy, including Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
