Responsibilities
As a Fiber Splicer, you are responsible to produce end-to-end fiber optic networks. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
Comcast/Genesis experience
Must know how to troubleshoot Fiber.
Ability to train and lead other Fiber Splicers
Starting Pay $25-40 per hour DOE.
In addition, you will:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with fiber splicing, testing, and fiber construction.
- Extensive knowledge with CWDM, DWDM, and PON networks. Experience with Comcast network is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of fiber optic counts, fiber assignments, and splicing schematics.
- Knowledge of fiber equipment i.e. fusion splicer, test equipment OTDR, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, Power meter.
- Must have a strong understanding of design and construction of MDU and Outside Plant (UG and Aerial).
- Highly organized, self-starter, and detail oriented.
- Must be available to work weekends and overnight when needed.

- You have at least 3-5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience
- You are comfortable working on ladder or bucket truck

- You are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtime
