Fiber Technician Opportunity | $23/Hour Paid Training

Looking to start a rewarding career in the fiber-optic industry? MasTec Advanced Technologies is hiring motivated individuals to join its Fiber Technician training program. No prior fiber experience is required, and you'll receive paid training, hands-on support, and the tools needed to succeed.

Position Information

• Work Area: Sanford, NC and surrounding areas
• Training Location: Garner, NC 27529
• Hotel accommodations may be available for qualified candidates
• Training Start Date: October 26
• Compensation: $23.00/hour during training and after graduation

What You'll Do

• Install and maintain fiber-optic services in residential and outdoor environments
• Test and troubleshoot network connections
• Complete service documentation and installation records
• Provide quality customer service during appointments
• Follow company safety procedures and standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily assignments

Paid Training Includes

• Classroom instruction on fiber-optic technology and safety
• Hands-on field training with experienced technicians

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60-80 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working on ladders up to 36 feet
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to pass background screening, drug test, and MVR review
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous fiber experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
