MasTec Advanced Technologies – Fiber Installation Technician (Lodi, NJ)

We are currently hiring Fiber Installation Technicians to provide high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet services to residential—and occasionally commercial—customers. What does a Fiber Technician do?
Our Fiber Technicians perform basic to advanced installation and troubleshooting for fiber-optic broadband equipment and services. This includes installations, repairs, splicing, and integration with both new and existing infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, splicing, repairing, and terminating fiber-optic cables and connectors in indoor and outdoor environments
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of installations, repairs, and equipment used
- Documenting network configurations and completing work reports
- Demonstrating strong ethics, initiative, flexibility, and accountability
- Providing exceptional service to ensure superior customer satisfaction

Requirements:
- Ability to lift 60–80 lbs and climb 28–36 ft ladders
- Valid driver’s license
