ABOUT THE JOB
Position: Assistant Project Manager
Summary of Position:
MAST is a professional services firm that offers Project Management, Owner’s Representative and Construction Management services. This position works with Senior Management and reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate & manage overall project files and systems.
- Utilize MAST PM database.
- Manage all project Requests for information (RFI’s).
- Manage all project submittals & shop drawings.
- Attend project meetings and distribute minutes from meetings.
- Take weekly progress photos.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. engineering, or related field with emphasis on construction management.)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite products including Microsoft Project.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic building design and construction systems
- Knowledge of construction estimating.
- Ability to read construction documents and specification manuals
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to be a member of a dedicated team
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in working with computers and other types of technology
- Energetic, highly motivated, self-starter
