What You’ll Do
- Financial Plan Development: Construct and maintain comprehensive financial plans, ensuring all data is accurate and reflects the client's current goals and objectives.
- Portfolio Management: Assist in the construction, monitoring, and rebalancing of investment portfolios.
- Meeting Participation & Support: Attend certain client meetings to provide technical support, capture detailed notes, and document key decisions.
- Action Item Oversight: Take full ownership of post-meeting follow-up, ensuring all administrative and technical action items are executed promptly and communicated to the client.
- Technical Research: Perform research on specific planning strategies, tax implications, and investment options to support the Lead Planner.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring the CRM is updated for all planning and portfolio activity.
- Experience: Prior experience in a Financial Planning or as an Associate Planner role is ideal, but not required.
- Licensing: Must either hold active securities licenses (Series 7 & 65/66) or be willing to accomplish all licensing within 6 months of hire.
- Education: Undergraduate degree required. Progress toward or achievement of the CFP® designation is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Excel and other technology tools. Prior financial planning software experience (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and portfolio management tools is not required.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional organizational skills with a "zero-error" mindset regarding data entry and meeting documentation.
- Communication: Ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable notes and client correspondence.
