As an Associate Marketing Consultant, you will play an important role in bringing that commitment to life by supporting marketing programs across print, social, digital, web, and email channels that build awareness, strengthen engagement, and support business growth. Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support marketing programs across print, social, digital, web, and email channels, gaining hands-on experience that helps strengthen brand presence, deepen audience engagement, and support business priorities.
• Assist in planning and coordinating events and related marketing activities that deliver a strong, consistent brand experience.
• Coordinate the tracking and fulfillment for recognition programs, helping create a positive and engaging participant experience.
• Support the distribution of product and program materials across multiple channels while ensuring alignment with company policies, brand standards, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining digital marketing programs and websites, building experience in creating content that is accurate, relevant, and aligned to audience needs.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend opportunities to strengthen the market positioning of MassMutual Ascend’s products and services, contributing ideas that support growth and differentiation.
• Respond to routine inquiries, requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care, troubleshoot reported issues, and escalate non-routine matters as appropriate.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support, including maintaining databases, completing data entry, preparing reports, organizing files, and supporting operational processes.
• Build foundational knowledge of regulatory guidelines and agencies related to communications, advertising, and marketing materials, developing skills that support compliant, high-quality work in a regulated industry.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and common business systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow established processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a regulated environment.
  
  

Ideal Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting marketing programs, digital content, websites, or communications initiatives.
• Experience coordinating projects, events, or promotional campaigns across multiple channels.
• Familiarity with marketing compliance or working in a regulated industry such as financial services or insurance.
• Experience with content management systems, email platforms, or digital marketing tools.
• Customer service mindset with the ability to respond professionally to routine questions and issues.
