Sewer Jetter / Vacuum Truck Operator (Class B CDL)

Pay: $26–$34 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sewer Jetter / Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating jetter and vacuum trucks to clean, maintain, and service sewer systems, storm drains, and underground utilities. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, equipment care, and efficient job performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sewer jetter and vacuum trucks for cleaning sewer lines, storm drains, and lift stations
- Perform hydro jetting to clear blockages, grease, roots, and debris
- Safely vacuum and transport liquid and solid waste materials
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment
- Maintain hoses, pumps, reels, and vacuum systems in proper working condition
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic control procedures, and environmental regulations
- Complete daily job reports, tickets, and required documentation
- Work with crew members to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule
- Respond to emergency service calls when needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B CDL (required)
- Experience operating jetter, vactor, or hydrovac trucks preferred
- Knowledge of sewer systems, underground utilities, and safe excavation practices
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle hoses/equipment
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
Preferred:
- Previous experience with hydro excavation or utility work
- OSHA certifications or safety training
- Mechanical knowledge of pumps and vacuum systems
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to mud, water, wastewater, and confined spaces
- Fast-paced construction and utility job sites

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
