Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, high-quality food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any concerns promptly
- Assist with food handling duties such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety management, and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with positive communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
