Job Summary Surgical Technologist 40 hour 10K sign on bonus!! 40 hour rotating Surgical Technologist – Operating Room Join Brigham and Women’s Hospital The Surgical Technologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital plays a vital role in the operating room by preparing and maintaining the surgical environment and assisting with the peri-operative care of patients. Surgical Techs work closely with surgeons, nurses, and the broader care team to support safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical procedures. This role requires strong knowledge of sterile technique, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting. Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required, along with completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program (*see substitution information below). Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program OR candidates must meet one of the following criteria: Have been employed as a surgical technologist in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013 Have successfully completed a surgical technology training program through the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or the United States Public Health Service Requirements are in accordance with Massachusetts Senate Bill 2058 (December 2012) Graduates who have not yet obtained certification will have one year from the date of graduation to become certified. Prefer at least 1 year of Surgical Technology experience.
