ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to take ownership of lifecycle engagement strategy using Braze. This role directly influences retention, reactivation, and monetization across a global consumer mobile product operating in 150 countries.
You will work cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering to design scalable engagement systems that drive measurable growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns using Braze

Design and optimize customer journeys across email, push, in-app messaging, and SMS

Develop segmentation strategies to improve personalization and engagement

Utilize Braze features including Canvas, Liquid scripting, and event-triggered workflows

Analyze campaign performance and iterate based on data

Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate event tracking and clean data flow

Identify retention gaps and propose structured lifecycle experiments
REQUIREMENTS

2–4 years of hands-on experience with Braze, especially Canvas and Liquid personalization

Strong understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, and multi-channel engagement strategy

Comfort analyzing campaign performance data and making optimization recommendations

Experience collaborating with technical teams on event tracking and integrations

Bonus: familiarity with SQL, HTML, or basic scripting
