Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Superintendent based in Bogart, GA. The Assistant Superintendent provides onsite administrative and technical management through planning, coordination, and supervision of craft employees and trade contractors to ensure the project is constructed in a safe and organized manner. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills as well as have strong communication and client service skills.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- assists in day to day onsite supervision of field labor force
- assist in the creation of daily reports and report quantities
- assist in project team as required
- quality control
- hire/monitor temp labor
- assist with punch list and project closeout
- maintain inspection and permit documents
- strong knowledge of the plans and specifications
- responsible for the proper care, maintenance and protection of all tools, instruments, and equipment
- keep jobsite clean, safe environment
- ability to operate heavy machinery
