About the role
We are seeking a Junior Accountant who is eager to train in managing a portfolio of French companies operating in the U.S. across various sectors and learn about U.S. tax, social, and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The following tasks for a portfolio of around 20 clients:
• Bookkeeping and accounting review.
• Preparing monthly/quarterly reports.
• Closing quarterly and annual accounts and preparing financial statements.
• Preparing tax declarations.
• Client support and advisory.
• Solving international tax issues
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or recently graduated or
currently pursuing a master's degree in accounting.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an accounting firm in France or in the U.S.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in French is considered a plus for this role.
• Essential qualities: rigor, adaptability, discretion, dedication, and sense of responsibility.
