Monitor all daily electronic Procore functions and activities, report to the Project Manager or others designated - on a regular basis, the status of the various project issues by means of standard procedural reporting.

POSITION SUMMARY: To provide technical services in support of staff on assigned projects. Effectively coordinate the flow of information concerning project operations to the staff, Owner, Architect and all contractors. Monitor all daily electronic Procore functions and activities, report to the Project Manager or others designated - on a regular basis, the status of the various project issues by means of standard procedural reporting.
General Duties
- Assist with processing all submittals. Review shop drawings and samples for compliance with contract documents. Pursue submittals from contractors and suppliers. Review Architect approvals and distribute to all relevant team members.
- Control the prompt flow of information, plans, specifications, instructions and design changes. Prepare, track and distribute requests for information, sketches and other project information and change events
- Assist with subcontractor coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Attend Owner/Architect meetings and prepare minutes if required.
- Preconstruction assistance – Reporting to Chief Estimator - Quantity take-offs for purpose of budget estimates and scheduling; attend precon. meetings and take notes on information to report to Chief Estimator; assist with the creation of bid documents and constructability reviews; Assist with bid day services.
- Preparation of charts, graphs and field drawings as required for scheduling and construction purposes. Assist in the issuance of change and extra work orders in accordance with contract documents.
- Review of contract drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness. Update the office and the electronic set of contract documents on an on-going basis. Periodically review field set of contract drawings with the Site Manager to ensure that they are up to date and complete, including RFI logs, sketch logs, and postings to drawings. Assist Superintendent with updating as required.
- Assist in the establishment of the requirements for the on-site inspection and testing of materials, components, systems and structures for project quality control. Review all inspection reports and maintain records for same.
- Assist the Project Manager, and prime contractors, in the preparation and updating of the project schedule.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of the Company’s EEO and MBE/MBWE programs for the project.
- Assist in the coordination of LEED certification and pertinent documentation. Monitor jobsite compliance with LEED certification, as applicable.
- Accumulate and coordinate the submission to the design professional and the owner, all project close-out tasks for punch-out, owner instructions and record documents

- BS Degree in construction management, engineering, technical training, or related degree.
- Five (5) years’ experience as construction assistant, project engineer, project manager or related position
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Relationship Management: Credibility in interacting with the various client organizations, design professionals and contractors that will be relevant to successful overall project performance.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills required up through senior management down and across organizations to motivate, explain and resolve project issues
