Nursing Supervisor – Full Time

Massapequa Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to work the night shift full time in our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff while coordinating patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Conduct regular evaluations of clinical practices and implement improvements where needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and carry out individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and adherence to best practices
- Oversee clinical procedures including medication administration, IV insertion, and catheter care
- Manage staffing schedules and assist in recruiting and onboarding nursing personnel
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding treatment plans and progress updates
- Implement and monitor infection control and safety protocols throughout the facility
Qualifications & Experience
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing / Assisted Living experience required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
