We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using hand tools and power tools.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication techniques to restore vehicle structures accurately.
- Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installations with precision.
- Assist in auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and performing detailed assembly work.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting, welding, and other demanding tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on vehicle inspections, estimating repairs, and ensuring quality control throughout the repair process.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including vehicle maintenance and automotive repair fundamentals.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment, and auto glass installation tools.
- Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills are a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of auto restoration processes and experience with auto painting or airless paint spraying is advantageous.
