Are you a hospitality professional who thrives in a guest‑focused, fast‑paced environment? We are seeking a Front of House Assistant Manager who will support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations, including restaurant set‑up and break‑down. Oversees day‑to‑day activities to ensure a smooth, efficient operation and an outstanding guest experience. Serves as a knowledgeable resource for guests by providing information about the resort and the surrounding area, while consistently upholding safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general database applications)
- Strong understanding of ABC regulations
- Previous food and beverage management experience
- Must be at least 21
Preferred
- Serve safe certification
- Understanding of profit and loss statements
- Understanding of labor reports
- Beer, wine, and liquor knowledge
Typical Schedule
Days:
Full availability required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Hours:
Scheduling needs will vary based on business demands. Minimum scheduling requirement of 40 hours per week.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist the general manager in upholding standards of customer service, ABC regulations, food quality and presentation, and daily operations of the restaurant
- Assist general manager in maintaining company culture including training and development of new and existing employees and ensuring an effective feedback loop between management and employees
- Maintain inventory control, including ordering of products as assigned by the general manager from distributors
- Actively participate in problem-solving as it pertains to maintaining business flow
- Involve supervisors in the process of implementation.
- Maintain a culture of improvement and achievement through consistent measurement, analysis, and recognition
- Other duties as assigned by management
