In addition to Thai massage, the team is highly skilled in Swedish massage and a range of other therapeutic techniques. The spa focuses on providing high-quality, personalized bodywork in a calm, welcoming environment. Team members work collaboratively to deliver consistent, professional, and client-centered care.
Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role based in Mount Pleasant, SC. The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide professional massage services, including Thai, Swedish, and other therapeutic modalities, tailored to client needs and preferences. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients about their goals and health history, recommending appropriate treatments, and delivering safe, effective bodywork. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized treatment space, adhering to hygiene and safety standards, and accurately documenting services. The therapist will support a positive spa experience by managing appointment flow, communicating clearly with clients and colleagues, and contributing to a respectful, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Strong therapeutic skills in bodywork, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to adapt pressure and techniques to individual client needs.
- Ability to support client well-being through Stress Management techniques, relaxation-focused massage, and clear aftercare guidance.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, professional communication, and maintaining client comfort and confidentiality.
- Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in South Carolina and compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards.
- Ability to work part-time, including some evenings and/or weekends, as needed to meet client demand.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to collaborate respectfully with a small team in a spa environment
