Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Provide various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply appropriate techniques for pain management and occupational health.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to medical terminology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
Skills
- Proficient in deep tissue massage, relaxation massage and others.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in pain management strategies and occupational health practices.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with med spa environments is a plus.
