Full Time Receptionist

Role: Full Time Receptionist / Front Office RoleLocation: MASS SCRAP – Leominster, MAMASS SCRAP is a brand-new, family-owned scrap metal yard in Leominster. We are building our team from the ground up and looking for one reliable, detail-oriented person to run our front office.This is a permanent, full-time, in-office role. There is no remote option.If you are dependable, detail driven, and responsible, this could be a long-term opportunity with room to grow.ScheduleMonday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMSaturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PMWeekly payroll (you are paid every week)What You’ll Be DoingYou will be the front desk. You will handle customers selling scrap, process payments, and work within Quickbooks to pay bills and write invoices.You will often work independently.Front Office & Customer ServiceGreet walk-in customersCollect ID and required paperwork for scrap purchasesAnswer phones and take messagesCommunicate clearly with yard staffKeep the office clean and organizedCustomer PaymentsYou will be responsible for:Calculating scrap payouts using provided weights and price sheetsPaying customers in cash or checkCounting and reconciling the cash drawerPreparing and balancing daily depositsVerifying transaction accuracy before paymentProcessing weekly payrollAccuracy matters. Math mistakes and carelessness will not work in this role.This is a high-trust position.
