TRAINING SPECIALIST, Business and Digital Transformation Office (BDTO), will partner closely with, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) and Vice President of Finance (VPF) to design, develop, and deliver training programs and communications focused on ERP systems, procurement platforms, and related Finance functional processes; support faculty, staff, and administrative teams in effectively adopting and utilizing enterprise systems through accessible, and user-centered learning and communications solutions; help others adopt new systems and processes through modern and engaging learning experiences; and serve as a communications liaison, ensuring consistent, timely, and compelling messaging across multiple channels to drive awareness, engagement, and successful adoption.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED : Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of four years of training experience, preferably supporting ERP implementations or upgrades; background in instructional design theory and learning principles/change management; experience delivering ERP and/or procurement system training, preferably within higher education or a similar organization; ability to create instructional videos and digital learning assets using modern authoring and video tools; experience with learning management system (LMS) platforms and training development software (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar); experience with Microsoft Office; experience developing and delivering email campaigns, newsletters, and website content; experience creating and delivering presentations for diverse audiences; strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and presentation skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple requests and projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. PREFERRED : Strong understanding of Finance functional areas (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, procurement); understanding of HR and other higher-education administrative operations; familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive training practices; and experience in organizational communications, change management communications, or internal messaging; knowledge of content management systems (CMS) or website platforms.
