TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, FENG LAB, Mcgovern Institute for Brain Research, to develop molecular tools for studying neurobiological mechanisms of brain disorders; use a variety of molecular, cellular, biochemical, genetic, imaging approaches to assist graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and research scientists in testing molecular and genetic tools in animal models; be involved in other aspects of research projects including, but not limited to, data collection, data analysis, project and collaboration management, animal protocol preparation and manuscript preparation.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED : Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field; a minimum of two years of research experience; passion for science; strong motivation, interpersonal skills and organizational skills; knowledge of molecular biology, genome editing and animal models; and training and experience in molecular and cellular methods, genetics, microscopic imaging.
