- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS or ARRT registered; Breast Registry (BR) certification preferred
- Current BLS certification
- 1-3 years of breast ultrasound or outpatient imaging experience preferred; strong clinical rotations are also valued
- Effective communication, customer service, teamwork, and teaching abilities
- Proficiency with computer applications, medical terminology, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a diverse patient population
- Perform diagnostic breast ultrasounds and assist with biopsies
- Deliver compassionate patient care and education
- Communicate findings to Radiologists
- Utilize RIS and PACS for accurate record-keeping and compliance
