Responsibilities
- Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications knowledgeably.
- Deliver care appropriate to patient age and condition, including self-care activities.
- Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.
- Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical tasks.
- Address psychosocial needs and communicate with social services for discharge planning.
- Practice cost-effective resource management.
- Prioritize patient safety and minimize risks of harm.
- Commit to lifelong professional learning.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Computer literacy.
- RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications.
