Role Overview: An Endoscopy Registered Nurse provides expert nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities: Evaluate patients pre-surgery, educate patients and families, prepare patients with IV therapy and medications, participate in surgical site verification, recognize and respond to emergencies, deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assess and document patient conditions, and ensure safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year of RN experience, associates degree in Nursing (bachelor's preferred), current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience in endoscopy or critical care. Strong assessment, critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
