- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, collecting non-invasive specimens, and observing resident conditions.
- Supporting psychosocial well-being and encouraging participation in recreational activities.
- Assisting with meals, snacks, and maintaining a positive dining experience.
- Providing basic health care support, including range of motion exercises and personal care.
- Ensuring infection control, proper PPE use, and maintaining clean living environments through housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff about resident needs and changes in condition.
- Documenting interactions, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.
- Current CNA certification or enrollment in a training program working toward certification.
- Ability to complete annual competency testing and continuing education (minimum 12 hours yearly).
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control policies.
- Strong communication skills, compassion, and teamwork orientation.
- For applicable roles, valid driver’s license and ability to perform driving duties.
