Role: Certified Medical Assistant II

Responsibilities

  • Support patient care in outpatient clinics by rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting with exams and procedures
  • Administer medications and vaccines, perform basic diagnostic tests
  • Support healthcare providers, faculty, and learners
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certified Medical Assistant credential
  • Experience in outpatient clinical settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and support diverse healthcare activities
