This position is open only to students currently enrolled at MCLA who have been awarded federal work study.

- Check in/out books and other library material
- Reserve items, DVDs and laptops
- Answer general questions about the library and library services
- Shelve and retrieve books
- Participate in library inventory, including shelf reading and shelf maintenance
- Special projects assigned by library staff
- Previous work in a library or book store a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty and the public
- Able to take directions and follow them through
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Reliable and committed to a regular work schedule
- Must be able to lift/push modest weights
