Help plan, organize, promote, and implement Academic Advising & Support programs, events, workshops, and trainings.
Create social media posts, newsletters, and flyers to connect students with information and resources.
Complete necessary office tasks including but not limited to mailings, flyers, outreach messages,
Navigate360 marketing, data entry, special projects, bulletin boards, and other space needs.
Able to work shifts and run information tables in the Academic Advising & Support office, Campus Center, and academic buildings.
Able to attend weekly Academic Advising & Support staff meetings as needed.
Able to work hours during the day, with occasional evenings and weekends, to assist with Academic Advising & Support needs.
Job Requirements:
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Commitment to protecting the privacy of student information and other sensitive information adhering to FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act).
Proficient at or willing to learn Microsoft Office Programs, social media platforms, and Canva.
Works well both in a team environment and as an individual.
Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication skills).
Willing to learn how to create programming and educational resources that best fit student needs.
