In this energized role, you will be a vital part of our cultivation and/or production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You’ll work hands-on in a fast-paced environment with a small team, utilizing your knowledge and skills to contribute to high-quality product output. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a compliant production facility while being an essential team member committed to efficiency and excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience with some or all of the following: commercial cultivation and plant care, packaging, trimming, labeling, and custodial responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of cultivation or post harvest flower processing, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Help with custodial duties on a regular basis, maintaining a clean facility at all times.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating quantities as needed.
- Maintain and repair equipment using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal functionality.
- Communicate with supervisors and managers of any issues you see within the crop or equipment.
- Show up on time consistently, ready to work with a good attitude.
- Follow all standard operating procedures
- Ability to read all labels, and understand proper safety handing of all materials in the facility.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Perform any other duties as necessary at request of management
Requirements
- Previous experience in legal cannabis is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills are essential for performing measurements and calculations accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks is required.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work on step ladders or concrete for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Ability to read and understand safety labels.
- Willingness to clean on a regular basis
