We are looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our dealership team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain our dealership inventory to ensure every vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready for sale or rental.
Unlike a traditional repair shop, we do not service customer vehicles. You will work exclusively on our dealership's inventory in a professional, team-oriented environment. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using professional diagnostic equipment.
- Perform engine and transmission replacements and major mechanical repairs.
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, shocks, struts, steering, and drivetrain parts.
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filters, fluid services, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair cooling, charging, fuel, and exhaust systems.
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure each vehicle meets dealership quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Document repairs and communicate with the service manager regarding vehicle status.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic is required.
- Strong knowledge of engine and transmission repair and replacement.
- Experience with brake systems, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Experience using diagnostic scanners and automotive repair equipment.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple vehicles.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Own tools are preferred but not required.
