What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership
- Serve as a medical leader and role model within the hospital.
- Promote excellence in patient care, client communication, and medical standards.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on operational and strategic initiatives.
- Support quality improvement efforts and advancement of medical protocols.
- Mentor and support associate veterinarians.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Partner with technicians and support staff to maximize patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals.
- Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries.
- Candidates with advanced surgical experience or a strong interest in expanding surgical services are highly encouraged to apply.
- Collaborate with specialists and referral partners as needed to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for mentorship and team development.
- Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon (ACVS) preferred
- Previous leadership or medical director experience.
- Advanced surgical experience.
- Interest in developing or expanding surgical offerings within the hospital.
- Desire to contribute to strategic growth and hospital development.
