Role Description
This full-time on-site role is for an Optometrist at the Providence, RI location. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care for vision correction procedures. The Optometrist will work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding vision care to patients of all ages, ensuring a high standard of care and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and providing accurate diagnoses
- Expertise in managing ocular diseases and prescribing appropriate treatments
- Ability to prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and advise patients on vision correction options
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively interacting with patients and a multidisciplinary team
- Degree from an accredited optometry school and a valid state license
- Commitment to delivering patient-focused, quality care
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferable
