What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Developer position at Mass General Brigham Health Plan?
Education
Bachelor's Degree Information Systems preferred
Epic Certification or Accreditation in Reporting Modules, preferably Cogito, Clarity and Caboodle Data Model
Required experience designing reports and dashboards using PowerBI and other data visualization tools 2-3 years required
Required experience with programming languages and/or statistical software including SQL and SSIS 2-3 years required
Preferred experience with programming languages and/or statistical software including SAS, Python, SSRS, or R 2-3 years preferred
Two or more years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in a professional healthcare setting, working with business users in developing analytical solutions to meet clinical and operational/ business needs 2-3 years preferred
Prior experience with Epic's Cogito suite 1-2 years preferred
Prior experience building reports using Epic's reporting tools, including Radar, Reporting Workbench and SlicerDicer 1-2 years preferred
Ability to function effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment, organize and prioritize work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to interpret and document regulatory and business reporting requirements
Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization.
Practical problem-solving abilities, i.e. the ability to formulate hypotheses and test options.
Strong visualization and usability design skills.
Intermediate programming language and/or statistical software skills (SQL, SAS, Python, SSIS, SSRS or R)
Ability to build reports using Epic reporting tools such as Radar, Reporting Workbench and SliceDicer.
