The Vendor Specialist will work closely with the Director, Partnerships and Alliances, and the Program Manager to ensure that all aspects of the vendor management lifecycle are managed in a coordinated, efficient, and organized manner. Important components include maintaining and leveraging the contract management system for reporting purposes, monitoring the performance of vendor contracts, ensuring the receipt of required reports, and tracking privacy and security controls for vendors.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of the contract management system
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of vendor contracts
- Design process flows and evaluate efficiencies
- Work with internal contacts to resolve technical issues
- Manage Vendor Management SharePoint site
o Load and update reference documents as necessary
o Manage Access as needed
- Oversee vendor service levels and performance guarantees
- Assist with the renewal and termination process for contracts utilizing automated notice functions and manual follow-up as needed
- Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
- Persist in accomplishing objectives to consistently achieve results despite any obstacles and setbacks that arise.
- Build strong relationships and infrastructures that designate Mass General Brigham Health Plan as a people-first organization.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of vendor management experience required
- Knowledge of project coordination
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred/Desired:
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstration of the ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Familiarity with Visio and SharePoint
- Ability to organize information and data
- Experience working with vendors
- Project management
- Familiarity with contract terms and structure
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Superior organization skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of individuals in the organization with patience and in a collaborative manner
- SharePoint and QNXT is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal with ability adjust to audience.
- Strong management, problem-solving and organization skills.
- Proven analytical aptitude, with the ability to create/extract/manipulate/analyze large amounts of complex financial and operational data.
- Project management experience, with an ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build collaboration across the organization.
