Job Summary
Responsible for assisting with a variety of duties, including installing equipment, maintaining mechanical systems, and repairing machines.
Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions:
- Assist in completing maintenance requests and other maintenance.
- Learn how to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances, and other systems.
- Assist with preventative maintenance.
- Participate in conducting inspections and ensuring tracking logs are kept current.
- Experience emergency maintenance procedures.
- Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management.

Maintenance or Physical Plant Experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understand electrical and mechanical fundamentals.
- Familiar with electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Able to read, comprehend and follow instructions when provided written, oral, or diagram forms.
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, drawings and procedure manuals.
