What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler/Powder coater position at Mass Electrical Apparatus Service?
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Operate power tools and hand tools to remove rust, paint, and other debris from surfaces
- Fabricate or repair metal parts as needed
- Apply powder coating materials using spraying equipment
- Ensure proper coverage and thickness of powder coating on surfaces
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired results
- Use lifting equipment to move large or heavy parts for coating
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assembly of product
Skills:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise application of powder coating materials
Note: 1-3 Years experience in powder coating is preferred
