We foster a work environment that values diverse perspectives, encourages innovation, and celebrates our shared commitment to building a stronger Massachusetts.Within the Finance Division, the Portfolio Department partners closely with the Lending, Community Investments, and Real Estate divisions to support a wide range of programs. As a Loan Administrator, youll support the day-to-day administration of loans, guarantees, and grants across multiple MassDevelopment programs. In this role, youll help keep MassDevelopments loan portfolio running smoothly by supporting transactional processing, documentation, and reporting, while serving as a key operational partner to both internal teams and external clients throughout the lifecycle of each transaction.What Youll DoProcess and manage multiple loan, guarantee, and grant transactions, including payments and advancesPartner with accounting to ensure accurate billing and financial processingServe as a primary point of contact for internal partners and external clients, providing timely, professional supportEnsure accuracy and completeness of data and documentation within loan servicing systemsMaintain organized, compliant file retention systemsAssist with monthly and quarterly portfolio reportingMonitor UCC filings, real estate taxes, and insurance requirementsSupport the preparation and processing of legal documents, including mortgage discharges for paid-off loansContribute to a collaborative, client-focused team environmentWhat We're Looking For13 years of relevant professional experience or an associate degreeStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approachAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamFamiliarity with commercial loan documentation and loan servicing systems23 years of experience in a loan operations environment (preferred, not required)Experience with loan servicing systems such as Enable (preferred, not required)Understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, access, belonging, and anti-oppression in the workplaceBenefits We Offer:Comprehensive Health Coverage:Including medical, dental, and vision insurance to keep you and your family healthy.Retirement Plans:Robust 401(a) and 457(b) plans with an agency match to help you plan for your future.Paid Time Off:Generous vacation, sickness, personal leave, and holidays allowing you to refresh and maintain a healthy work-life balance.Hybrid Work Environment:Helps you minimize the burden of a daily commute, for that ideal balance of work and personal life.Professional Development:Opportunities for continuous learning to help advance your career.
