Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, boom, and moffett.
- Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or heavy equipment.
- Ensure that all cargo is secure and properly loaded to prevent damage during transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions or updates on delivery routes.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Experience driving various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, boom, and Moffett trucks.
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and forklift operation is a plus.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or roll-off truck driver is preferred.
